Rotating Drum Mixers
Rotating Drum Mixer is a combination of Rotary Mixers and Drum Mixers. These mixers are used for quick and perfect mixing of any product in granules or powders, also with very different specific weights or additioned in very small percentages (pigments, additives). In continuous working variant, this mixer is suitable for working with large amounts of product, including liquid addition, controlling the revolving speed as well as the residence ti me of the product.

Working Principles
The mixing principle is based on the free flow of material throughout a slowly rotating drum equipped with specially shaped scoops. The product material is fed in at the axis of the drum through an inlet funnel. The turning motion, assisted by gravity, gently redistributes the product randomly and directs the product towards the outlet of the drum, where an accumulation of product causes a back-flow and an additional mixing motion.
