Anti-Bacterial Coatings

Anti-Bacterial Coatings provide an extra barrier to the spread of harmful bacteria in sensitive environments such as hospital and healthcare facilities, medical equipment, food and drink processing and childcare areas.Anti-bacterial coatings contain active silver ions and are specially formulated to penetrate the cell walls of unhealthy bacteria and inhibit and control their spread and growth. These coatings were originally tested for hospital applications, where the coating was applied to commonly used materials like bed pans and toilet plungers to prevent the spread of disease causing bacteria.

Applications

  • Hospital and healthcare facilities.
