Two Shaft Shredders

Two Shaft Shredders are used for pre-cutting of large amounts of material, or bulky materials like film, scrap tires, random plastic waste or drums.

Design

Two Shaft Shredders are equipped with slow operating shredders shafts, electrically or hydraulically controlled. The shredder shafts work into each other and guarantee a fast size reduction procedure. For a even better material feeding the two shaft shredder can be equipped with a hydraulic force feeding device.

Features

  • Dual shaft system with differential shaft speeds
  • Independently driven shafts or single drive for both shafts
  • Custom rotor speed and torque
  • Horizontal construction
  • Heavy-duty internal gearbox
  • Low maintenance open loop hydraulics
  • Custom blade widths to match your required sizing
  • Custom blade materials to increase cutting effectiveness
  • Multi-pass processing if needed to meet required size reduction
  • Programmed reversing function when system hits an overload condition
  • Custom size and shape cleaning fingers to keep the system free of tangles/wrapping
  • Feed to shredder hopper using conveyor, loader, grapple or forklift

Applications

  • Plastics
  • Metals
  • Rubber
  • Bulk waste
  • Tires
  • Construction
  • Demolition
  • Wood
  • New product destruction
  • Biomass waste
  • Paper and cardboard
  • Electronic scrap
