Stirrers are commonly used in laboratory applications that needs light mixing. The spectrum of applications ranges from homogenizing waste water samples to the use in laboratory reactors, to dispersion tasks under vacuum / pressure and sample preparation in medical diagnostics.
Typical Types
Plastic Stirrer
Plastic stirrer elements are ideal for those applications where absolutely no cross-contamination is permitted. The disposable tips can be thrown away after each use or autoclaved for up to 10 uses.
Stainless Steel Stirrer
Suitable for abrasive substances.
