Injector Screws

Injector Screw consists of an inlet chute, which receives the product that is being dosed, and a spiral screw, which transfers it to the injection point. The motor power and the spiral section are oversized to reduce the force created by the moisture. This system confines and transports the plastic as it progresses through the feeding, compressing, degassing, melting, injection, and packing stages.

Advantages

  • Prevents blockages and tamping (packing of the product) in the outlet conduit.
  • Minimizes dust emission in “open” type mixer.
  • Requires no preventive cleaning.
  • Easy installation.
  • Easy measurement of discharge rate.
  • Quick disassembling.
