'''Vacuum Clamps''' are designed for the secure and effortless clamping of any non-porous objects using compressed air. Simply connect up to the compressed air supply and the vacuum clamp is working. There are no moving parts inside the [[Clamps]] so the only thing that can wear out is the replaceable rubber seal. Link multiple clamps running from one air supply to secure even your largest work pieces. These clamps are made from injection molded nylon, so they won't damage cutters or work piece. Vacuum clamps generate a vacuum pressure that, when using the full face of the clamp, creates 150 kg of holding pressure to hold the work piece securely.
==How to use a vacuum clamp==
A vacuum clamp holds a work piece to a stable surface using atmospheric pressure. The clamp has a seal that forms air chambers between the clamp and the work piece. The vacuum pump removes air from the chambers, which reduces the atmospheric pressure in the space between the clamp and the work piece. The surrounding atmosphere presses on the work piece as it attempts to equalize the pressure and holds the piece against the clamp. The top and sides of the work piece are then unobstructed and easily worked on. |
