A double shuttle valve is constructed of two autonomous flaps, pressed down to the feeding section by means of weights installed on a lever. Proper location of weights depends on the type and quantity of the dust. Valve opening adjustment must be set so that the upper valve opens after the upper section is fed with the dust, supplying the dust to the bottom valve, which eventually closes. As subsequent portions of dust are supplied, the bottom valve opens and the dust is removed from the equipment.
