Gravimetric Continuous Blenders consist of one to eight ingredient feeders and a microprocessor-based controller. They are designed to continuously meter raw materials accurately into a central station hopper. Each of the feeders operate in an independent, continuous loss-in-weight scaling mode to insure accuracy of each ingredient. The desired feed rate for each material can be entered in as pounds (or kg.) per hour, as a percent of the total rate, or as a percent of the virgin material.

Applications and Processes

Gravimetric Continuous Blender is ideal for manufacturing liquid food products such as beer. The Gravimetric Continuous Blender system is perfect for the optimum, ratio-controlled blending of beer and deaerated water to your required level of original gravity. The beer is then made ready for sale through fine adjustment of the beverage to the final CO2 content. Suitable for many different types of beer, the system has a maximum output of 1,400 hectoliters an hour.

The deaerated beer water is dosed with the highest accuracy, resulting in precise levels of original gravity, alcohol, and CO2 being achieved and enabling you to reliably maintain a high product quality. The system thus allows you to increase your beer production while minimizing your consumption of energy and raw materials.
