Gas tight elevator is commonly used as hearth furnace in some manufacturing industries that requires large amount of heat while transferring the products.
Features
- Elevator hearth furnace for debonding and sintering
- The workpieces are contained within an inconel 601 bell type retort, with a maximum load of 100kg
- A Laminar flow of clean air across the product is provided
- Raising and lowering of the hearth is by an elevator platform
- Gas tight retort dimensions: 500mm high x 475mm maximum diameter
- Maximum temperature 1100°C, working temperature 1000°C
- Element type: resistance wire spiral supported in grooved ceramic side panels, arranged in a hexangonal formation to surround the retort and reduce distortion and ensure even heating and long life
- Insulation: low thermal mass insulation combined with nickel chromium tungsteniron alloy hearth plate to support the load
- 415-240 volts or 380-220 volts three phase and neutral, 44kW.
High temperature elevator hearth furnace
- Electrically operated elevator hearth ensures smooth loading and unloading of work piece
- Chamber dimensions: 250mm high x 200mm maximum diameter, (actually an hexagonal shape chamber)
- Maximum temperature: 1700°C; maximum continuous operating temperature 1650°C
- Heat up time: approximately 80 minutes to 1600°C
- Element type: molybdenum discillicide heating elements arranged vertically around chamber walls
- Insulation: refractory brick hot face backed by ultra-high purity alumina low thermal mass insulation for rapid response rates and maximum thermal efficiency and stabilty
- Dual display PID temperature controller/programmer with 8 segment pairs (type Eurotherm 3216P1) plus independent overtemperature controller (type Eurotherm 2116) to protect from overheating
- Type B thermocouple with 0.5mm diameter wire
- 415-240 volts three phase with neutral, 9kW
