Barrel Mills are similar with the Disc Mills. They are highly efficient grinding machine comprises a steel vessel containing a solid steel bar (stone) and one or two ring which oscillate with a rotary motion to grind materials from approximately 10mm lumps down to powders finer than 50microns.

A particular feature of the Barrel Mill is that operation is dust free and, due to its ease of cleaning, the ground product can be fully recovered.

The 100cc & 250cc Vessels are quickly and securely clamped to the machine by means of cam-action levers and swing-arms, and the oscillating motion is imparted to the vessels by means of a specially designed out of balance drive mechanism. The unit is supplied with a sound proof cabinet, which also contains a motor starter and timer.
