Bung Mixers provide a simple means of mounting smaller mixers onto tanks or drums with a bung hole in the cover. These mixers are commonly designed for use on a closed steel drum.

Bung Mixers

Working Principles

These heavy duty models feature a 5:1 ratio gearbox and will mix medium to high viscosity materials such as heavy paints, resins and polymers as well as suspend settled materials. The bung drum mount quickly and easily screws into a 2" drum lid bung hole. This 1 HP electric motor model is ready to plug into a standard outlet. The totally-enclosed fan cooled motor requires single phase 115/230 voltage. The collapsible impellers fit through the 2" opening and expand to 4" in diameter when in operation. The 32" long mixing shaft attaches to the motor coupler and four 4" impellers with set screws. All wetted parts are made of stainless steel for chemical resistance. This electric model features a motor known for quality and reliability.
