Plate heaters incorporate the efficient and safe characteristics of the metal sheathed electric tubular element with the even heat transfer properties of a flat surface emitter. They can be designed to fit various crucible configurations in various electrical ratings. They are clamped to the sides of cast iron crucibles keeping the metal at the required temperature for die casting machines.

Plate heaters

Applications

Plate heaters are used in the process of heat treating traveling synthetic yarns with easily replaceable wear plate. These plate heaters are provided with large ID groove, that allows much larger gage wire therefore higher watts per square inch of heater surface in comparison to most standard plate heaters.

Materials

Plate Heater is constructed of heavy gauge stainless steel, and is sized for optimal space conservation.
