Silo Discharge Systems

Silo Discharge Systems are commonly referred to as Silo Unloading Systems. It is also sometimes called as big bag discharge systems. Big bag discharge stations are used for discharging big bags. The discharge systems are equipped with lifting gear and a big bag connection system with a press-on lid or inflatable collar. These systems for discharging big bags can also be combined with systems for feeding sacks and drums.

Application

In a round silo, an eliptic scraper cut out a product slice and discharges it into the silo outlet, generally a collecting screw conveyor or a set of hatches in the silo bottom. in a rectangular silo, a profiled ladder shears a product slice and decharges it into collecting screw conveyors.
