Freeze Indicators

Freeze Indicators assure that the product has not suffered lower than permited temperature in any moment of its transportation and manipulation and guarantee the perfect state of the product before its use. The indicator activates by transforming the colour irreversibly and tamper-evident when the temperature lowers beneath the indicated and required level and reaches the frozen stage. It is a simple tool showing that the product has been imposed a freezing temperature in any moment.

The freezing indicators control that the product has not been frozen during the transport. The dimensions of the indicator permit it to be located close to the product in order to monitor its temperature.

Uses

They are mainly used to control the temperature of products that con not freeze as vaccines, pharmaceutical products, insuline, laboratory samples, serums, levaduras. It is necessary to maintain the indicator at ambient temperature. The temperature con not exceed 43ºC nor lower down to less than 5ºC.

Benefits

  • Safe.
  • Ready for its direct use.
  • Indicates the expossure of the product to temperature lower than the one required.
  • In case of freezing of the product (expossure), indicator changes of colour to purple.
  • Clear land irreversible.
  • The absence of the colour indicates that the required temperature was reached.
