Primary Crushing work

Primary Stage Crushing is the first stage in the crushing cycle. It`s the first process where large material is being reduced in size by crushing it in too smaller particles required by customers. Primary and Secondary Stage Crushers handling coarse materials, where tertiary Stage Crushers grinds them after those. Generally speaking, The primary Crusher machine is often the largest and most expensive single item in the plant.


Rocks up to 5 feet by 4 feet by 4 feet in size enter the primary crusher which reduces the size to 12 inches or smaller. Water is sprayed to reduce dust.

For soft Feed Horizontal Impact Crusher is normally used in the primary stage, for harder feed there is a choice between a Gyratory Crusher
