Bottle Crushers

Bottle Crushers are used to crush bottles to eliminate the need for frequent empty bottle runs back to the storage room. This saves valuable time that should be spent at the bar serving customers. The bottle crusher can be installed under the counter which is near the bartender, or in some restaurants and eateries. This allows for rapid crushing of empty beer bottles, liquor bottles, wine bottles, and even champagne bottles. Since the crusher is located under the counter, it stays out of sight and out of the customers view.

Operation

Operating the bottle crusher is very simple and intuitive. When an empty bottle is presented to the bartender, he takes that empty bottle and places it into an opening on the crusher.

Once the bottle is in the crusher the crushing mechanism takes over and breaks the bottle up into small fragments which allows it to hold a lot of bottles before it becomes full.

Once the bin is full, the bartender simply removes the full bin, empties it into a larger bin, and places it back under the bar. The cycle then repeats.

Benefits

• The Bottle Crusher will reduce the volume of your glass waste by up to 75%. Twenty bins will be reduced to just five saving you both space in your waste disposal area and money on waste collection. • Alleviate noise complaints from nearby residents. No more noise from tipping bottles into bins or at bin collection time. • Create a more efficient working place. Minimise trips to the bin and have a clutter free work area. • Improve OH&S by eliminating the risk of injury from lifting bins, hearing damage from excessive noise and the handling of broken bottles.

Common Types

  • Plastic bottle crushers
  • Beer bottle crushers
  • Glass bottle crushers
