Tank Coolers actually a contained system, works like a trickle system, cooling tower principle with a simple 12V fan and 2 air-vents to ventilate the porous sponge that the aquarium water will come in contact with via spray bar. Prefferably installed over a sump since the cooled water is drawn back by gravity.
