Solids Liquids Mixer

Solids Liquids Mixer can be classified as High Shear Mixers, Inline Mixers or Continuous Mixers designed to prevent the formation of agglomerates and "fish eyes" in thickened solutions. A "hose & wand" attachment to the powder inlet on the mixer allows operators to draw free-flowing powders straight from within the bulk container. This is used to disperse solids into continuous liquid phases. In principle the powders are sucked in under vacuum which is generated by the specially designed rotor for powder mixing. Powder and liquid then get dispersed in a narrow space within the mixer chamber.

Typical Advantages

  • Simplify the process and improve productivity.
  • Dust free working conditions.
  • Optimal mechanical design for CIP/SIP conditions.
  • No wastage of powders being un-dispersed.
