'''Loading Platforms''' or loading docks are floors that are used for transporting materials for constructions. These loading deck systems has long been the preferred loading deck system in multi-storey construction around the world. Loading Platforms or loading docks are floors that are used for transporting materials for constructions. These loading deck systems has long been the preferred loading deck system in multi-storey construction around the world. Platforms are fitted with fixed safety harness points to allow units to be vertically stacked and rolled in and out as required, as opposed to being staggered in the traditional deck configuration. This increases the efficiency of materials handling by minimising hindrance to crane ropes and loads to create faster, safer and more cost effective crane operation.
Advantages
- Quicker installation and relocation (approximately 15 minutes compared to over one (1) hour for convention decks)
- Safer loading and unloading of materials as materials are delivered to one point on the building
- Faster material movement and easier rubbish removal from floors
