'''Fluidizing hoppers''' are better because they constantly fluidize the powder unlike the other hoppers that just blow when the trigger is pulled. This serves to break up clumps in the powder, remove moisture, mix pigments and metallic flakes evenly through out the powder, helps the pump consistently draw the powder from the hopper, and allows you to adjust the powder / air ratio. With some powders you will notice a good difference in the finished product using a fluidizing bed hopper. |
