Silo Weighing Systems are ideal for weighing applications where fitting standard load cells is either not possible or not cost effective. It is also suitable for applications where traditional level measuring techniques do not give satisfactory results.Silo-Weigh system uses specially developed low-strain techniques to accurately measure strain levels in existing silo supports with an overall system accuracy of typically 1% to 5% of full scale. It has been used successfully on multiple silo installations on integrated support structures where load cross-talk traditionally causes problems.

Silo weighing system is generally accepted to offer the highest accuracy and repeatability when measuring the contents of tanks, hoppers and silos.Never run out of cement again silo weighing systems and eliminate the risk of overfilling storage vessels. Silo weigh system tells you the contents of any tank or vessel not as an empty or full signal, or even a percentage full signal based on a level measurement. Silo weigh measures the actual weight of the vessel and contents to give a true picture of the amount on hand and it costs little more than a level sensor.

All three sensors use high quality foil strain gauges, as used in high-accuracy load cells, to give superior stability and accuracy. Silo weigh is temperature compensated by matching the sensors to the metal of the legs. We have demonstrated typical accuracies of ±1 to 2% of full scale when all four legs are gauged. It is possible to gauge only half the legs but we do not recommend it since wide variations in accuracy are possible. You can also mount the legs on Load Cells for high accuracy . Sensors, wiring and junction boxes are carefully weatherproofed and you can set up the dust and spash proof display system in a convenient indoor location.
